Foster Coordinator Assistant
Be the helping hand.
Help support foster families with communication, scheduling, supplies as well as coordinating photos and even helping with bios until the dogs in our care find forever homes.

Social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok are our main tools for getting our adoptable dogs more exposure. More exposure means more adoptions! If you like making creative content and are well-versed in the social media space, we would love to hear your ideas.

Perri Taylor
If there’s one person you can always count on to raise her hand and say, “I’ll help!”, it’s Perri Taylor! No matter the task—big or small—Perri jumps in with both feet and a huge smile. She’s a writer, a baker, a salesperson, an organizer… and the list just keeps going.
Whatever hat needs wearing, Perri wears it with style and enthusiasm. Her energy is contagious, her creativity is inspiring, and her commitment to helping our animals (and our team!) never wavers!

One word to describe volunteering with DSDA: Worthwhile
Melissa & Grant Reddy
If you’ve adopted a puppy from DSDA, there’s a good chance your new family member spent their early days soaking up love, cuddles, and social skills at Melissa and Grant Reddy’s home. This dynamic foster couple has turned their place into a full-blown puppy paradise—think chew toys galore, belly rub marathons, and nonstop tail wags. In just 4–5 months, they’ve fostered lots of puppies, helping pups grow from wobbly little furballs into confident, happy adoptees. DSDA is beyond grateful for their big hearts, tireless energy, and endless supply of puppy snuggles.
Meet Melissa!!
First dog: I wasn’t allowed to have dogs as a child, so my first dog was Mia, who we adopted right before we got married.
Favorite DSDA moment: Any time I go to an event and meet all the cute dogs! My favorite foster was Frisky. I would have kept her, but we already have 3 dogs and Grant wouldn’t let me, lol.
One word to describe volunteering with DSDA: Fulfilling!
Carolyn Damato
If you have adopted a dog from DSDA chances are you have received an email from Carolyn Damato! Carolyn is our Adult Dog Medical Coordinator and has been with DSDA since our inception. She has an eye for details and her organizational skills are beyond comprehension!
